Recipo Material's vision is a sustainable society where electronics do not become waste but are circulated into new products. We are the first plastic recycling plant owned and run by a collection scheme, Recipo Group. With a steady source of material from collection schemes as well as from other recyclers in Northern Europe, Recipo Material can guarantee a steady supply of raw plastic material for manufacturing distribution globally. Recipo Material has identified that plastic recycling for is not reaching material recovery targets. The majority of plastic from is being exported out of the EU, where traceability and accountability becomes far more difficult. A need to have control and traceability of the materials from an environmental perspective is paramount. Recipo Material has found a niche in the market that is in direct alignment with a renewable future. By shortening and centralising the value chain, producers of electronics can become more environmentally efficient and far more cost effective.
