Recombination Therapeutics is a preclinical DNA Damage Response (DDR) biotechnology company focused on developing best-in-class personalized cancer therapeutics. Recombination Therapeutics was established with the goal of developing next-generation precision medicines for cancers with genetic defects in the DNA repair pathway called homologous recombination. Recombination’s lead program is targeting DNA polymerase Theta (Polq) which is essential for the proliferation of recombination deficient cancer cells, but is dispensable for normal cells.
