Recovery Cafe Muncie

The Recovery Cafe Muncie sees each member and guest exactly for who they are, who they will become, and what they are recovering from. Whether it is homelessness, addiction, or mental health, we create a community of healing. How do you become a member? Easy! If you have already checked out the Cafe for yourself, all you need to do is complete a New Member Introduction to learn the ins and outs of the Cafe. NMIs are every Friday at 1 pm! Requirements of a membership? Cafe Memberships are free to everyone, although, there are a few requirements- Be substance free for 24 hours before entering the Cafe- Attend your scheduled Recovery Circle each week- Give back to the Cafe community by participating in Cafe chores! Are there benefits included with joining the Cafe? Absolutely- Enjoy a hot meal for lunch, every day that we are open- Attend a weekly Recovery Circle with your peers- Various types of School for Recovery classes. This includes mindfulness, job readiness, yoga, life skills, and so much more- Community agencies who offer financial and insurance information- Meetings with our Resource Specialist who can provide information for financial assistance, housing, and other important needs.
