Recro Kardo

RECRO KARDO is a Delhi based Architecture, Interior and Landscape Design studio, with its roots founded in the design practice initiated in 2004 by its Principal Architect, Rajat Kumar. Derived from Latin, ‘Recro Kardo’ signifies the studio’s intent : “Reviving the Axis”. By nurtured use of geometric principles, spatial configurations, of materials and light - and their derivations and adaptability in today’s sensibilities, while acknowledging and respecting the collaborative design processes with clients and indirect users, the studio aims at reviving the inherent relationships that bind all existence. The design team works as a collaborative unit of architects, graphic designers and our senior artist-academician whose visionary advice and in-depth critique boosts the creative forces of the studio. We work in close contact with our consultants who extend their expertise in fields of structural design, air-conditioning, electrical & automation, and also textile designers, artists, product designers when the scope of design is desirous of such interaction.
