Red Flag Media is an independent magazine publisher based in Philadelphia. We produce three monthly magazines and provide design, production and prepress services to other small publishers. Decibel: Founded in 2004, Decibel Magazine is the globe’s premier heavy metal resource. The Philadelphia, PA-based monthly magazine has never deviated from its original mission of examining the past, present and future of metal. Since our debut issue (the Dillinger Escape Plan, October 2004), Decibel has evolved into the authoritative voice on heavy music—we match our readers’ rabid obsession with both the legendary and currently groundbreaking artists we cover. In our tenth year, Decibel isn’t just America’s only monthly metal magazine—with an array of dynamic, exclusive content and three renowned national tours in our arsenal, we’re the only ones who matter- See more at: Magnet: Since 1993, MAGNET has published a print magazine, available by subscription and in bookstores and record stores worldwide. MAGNET has covered independent music through artist profiles, critical reviews, in-depth features and bold photography. Our website, magnetmagazine.com, contains original editorial content as well as selected pieces from the print magazine. Grid: Founded in 2008, Grid is a free monthly focused on sustainability issues and initiatives in the Greater Philadelphia area. Born out of a potent combination of inspiration and frustration. With enthusiasm fueled by reading the growing library of books about sustainability, we looked at the current media and found it lacking. Where was the encouraging voice, so easy to find in books, to discuss these issues, and on a local level? We took a hard look in the mirror, gargled some salt water and decided that Grid would be that voice.
