We only ever want the best for our children, and to know that they will be ok without us. The goal at Red Giraffe Solutions is to help families support their children to plan a better future. As part of this Graham Caldow has written a book about our own journey What's Possible - Plan A Better Future For Your Young Adult With Additional Needs Using the approach outlined in the book we have developed a life plan for our daughter along each of the 4 lines of the Red Giraffe Route Map: Purpose, Daily Living, Relationships and Financial Security. Most of us try to avoid thinking about ‘what ifs’ when we are no longer around. If there is someone in your life who depends on you, it’s sometimes impossible to imagine how they will flourish without you there to support them. But it’s possible with the right life plan in place. Then, when you do leave them, you will know their future is one in which your influence will continue to travel with them as they live the life they want and deserve.
