Red Lac-Ee

Red LAC-EE contribute to reduce Climate Change effects through Energy Efficiency development, by facilitating the exchange and dissemination of technical, legal and regulatory information among institutions and professionals. Latin American Energy Organization-OLADE, ITAIPU, ELETROBRAS, ICA support this non-profit public-private initiative. They believe in its potential with abundant natural resources, so the motivation to take action on this line has to be linked to the development of new employment opportunities for its people, and to free up resources for export, through the experiences gained by countries in the region that took the lead. Specific Objectives a) Become the permanent forum and exchange experiences in EE b) Promote national policies to set a favorable environment for energy efficiency as NAMAs, INDCs, LEDS, c) Disseminate lessons learned d) Disseminate through thematic groups, experiences in the application of new technologies. e) Promote meetings of professionals, associations or other bodies.
