With over 12 years’ experience in the industry, Ewan Dunbar, Founder of Red Stag Entertainmentu, has developed and acquired a wide range of titles that have made their way to Netflix Originals, Amazon, MGM, Disney+, broadcasters, broadcasting partners and independent distributors. Ewan has developed relationships with literary agents, managers, I.P. rights holders, writers and creatives to source exciting, commercial, quirky and engaging original projects – assessing titles from both a creative and commercial perspective. These also include projects from the LGBTQ+ community, multi-ethnic communities as well as projects exploring mental health and neuro-diversity. In 2023, Ewan founded Red Stag Entertainment to bring his consulting to the marketplace. Recently Ewan served as an executive producer on the Stephen Fry presented documentary Willem & Frieda as well as selling and assisting with sales of titles to international distributors including Berlin, I Love You, the latest installment in the successful Cities of Love franchise (Paris je t’aime, New York I Love You) starring Keira Knightley and Helen Mirren, Scott Adkins/Dustin Nguyen action thriller Zero Tolerance, Lauda: The Untold Story and was a funding producer on the series Deep Cuts. Before moving into sales and acquisitions in 2012, Ewan started out in production management, assistant directing and aerial location services working on titles such as World War Z, 360, Chatroom (dir. Hideo Nakata) and Rush.
