Located in Naperville, IL, Redstart Construction takes pride in every project and relationship we build. In June 2005, Chad Mease and his wife Amanda, both natives of Naperville, Illinois, decided to start a new chapter in their lives and return to their hometown. Chad, who had a successful career in commercial construction, was ready to spread his wings and venture into entrepreneurship. With the support of their family, Chad and Amanda founded a construction company. As they were forming the new business, they needed to choose a name. Redstart was born - a nod to the small yet mighty warbler bird that resonated with the couple. The painted redstart (Myioborus pictus) is a small, colorful warbler species native to the Midwest. The male painted redstart has a striking black head and back, with bright orange-red patches on its wings, tail, and sides, while females and immature males have a more subdued gray-green plumage with yellow patches. The color red has always held special significance in Chad and Amanda's marriage and early life together. When they decided that their hometown was the best place to start this new endeavor. They moved back and purchased a home. With a fresh start and a new home, it was time to renovate and build the nest for their growing family. This first project for the Mease family was just the beginning. Redstart Construction has since transformed homes and spaces for hundreds of families in the Naperville community - a community that Chad and Amanda were raised to love. The company's mascot, the redstart bird, represents the family, new beginnings, and the joy of building within the place they call home.
