Redwood Legacy is a specialist provider of early-intervention grief capability for organisations and individuals navigating serious or life-limiting illness at home, caregiving strain and anticipatory grief. We address a hidden but significant driver of workplace performance risk: the impact of grief and prolonged uncertainty on decision-making, wellbeing and productivity long before bereavement occurs. Our work helps organisations respond earlier, more consistently and with greater confidence when life at home begins to affect performance at work. Our flagship programme, Tender Transitions, is an organisation-wide workplace wellbeing solution designed for employees, managers and HR teams. It equips organisations to recognise anticipatory and post-loss grief early, strengthen psychological safety, and reduce invisible people-risk linked to presenteeism, absenteeism and retention pressure. Redwood Legacy’s approach is practical, ethically grounded and culturally intelligent. We complement existing EAP, occupational health and workplace wellbeing provision without over-medicalising grief or placing inappropriate emotional labour on managers. The focus is on capability, clarity and early intervention rather than crisis response. Our work is informed by lived experience of grief across different life stages and extensive senior-level experience operating in complex, high-stakes organisational environments.
