Redx Pharma is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of novel, small molecule, highly targeted therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and fibrotic diseases Our team of scientists are based at our labs at Alderley Park, Cheshire, the UK’s largest single site life science campus. The team is made up of world class medicinal chemistry, biology and clinical capability with deep-rooted biotech and large pharma experience. Redx's lead asset, the selective ROCK2 inhibitor, zelasudil (RXC007), is in development for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and commenced a Phase 2 clinical trial in Q4 2022. Redx’s second ROCK inhibitor candidate, RXC008, a GI-targeted pan-ROCK inhibitor for the treatment of fibrostenotic Crohn’s disease, commenced a Phase 1 clinical trial in Q1 2024. The Company's lead oncology product candidate, the Porcupine inhibitor, zamaporvint (RXC004), commenced a Phase 2 programme in November 2021. The Company has a strong track record of discovering new drug candidates through its core strengths in medicinal chemistry and translational science, enabling the Company to discover and develop differentiated therapeutics against biologically or clinically validated targets.
