Since 2009, Reflect Sports has been manufacturing and distributing their proprietary range of products including a salon quality swim hair care line and an anti-chafing skin and chamois cream formulated specifically for women, the first of its kind, to salon and beauty stores, resorts, hotels & spas, and swim, bicycle and multisport retailers. The owners and founders of the company, Laurie Mellott and Jena Schuster, met swimming laps at their local community pool and instantly developed a friendship when they discovered they were both working moms who have a passion for maintaining an active lifestyle. They planned workouts together and continue to be a great support system for one another. Countless hours at the pool, in the gym, cycling, and running led them to promising ideas about products specifically tailored for women. They had an immediate personal need for these products and there was no doubt in their mind where they would begin. they worked with a chemist to develop the perfect salon quality swim hair care line and anti-chaffing skin & chamois cream formulated for women.
