Reframe Psychology

Reframe Psychology is a Clinical Psychology Practice created to offer assessments, individual therapy and consultations using an integrative approach (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation-Based Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy and Compassion-Focussed Therapy). Through the assessment process, we will explore which approach best suits your needs and proceed accordingly. We will then work together to identify patterns and changes that you want to make. A 15-minute free telephone conversation is offered for an informal chat before committing to the assessment process. Specialities at Reframe Psychology include working through traumatic experiences, relational difficulties, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Autism and ADHD. Other interests/specialities include racial and intergenerational trauma, difficulties associated with becoming and being a parent (including the perinatal period), and conditions such as endometriosis and fertility issues. Reframe Psychology works affirmatively with those who have experienced discrimination (i.e. those who identify as LGBTQ+, have been racially targeted, have experienced gender-based aggression and other forms of prejudice). We see adults, children, families and couples. Dr Oona McEwan (Director) holds a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society, and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). We are a team of 10 Psychologists, all of us are HCPC registered, with many years of experience in our respective fields. The practice is in Central London, Hackney and online.
