The Story A blend of two HR professionals sat talking during a networking event early in 2010 discovered a number of the same issues. The main one being who to trust and where to find the suppliers of HR products and services. The good news is that they actually shared the same vision and had too many things in common to simply just stop at conversation. So what is refreshingHR? The end game will be a resfreshing HR website where suppliers of HR software, Payroll Software, Learning & Development, Pensions, Benefits, HR recruitment and basically all things HR can 'strut their stuff'(for free) where the customer, those being all people HR (and payroll) can search (dynamically) for a product and service, link directly into the product or service and leave a rating.(if they wish) The rating is the 'twist'. We feel that if suppliers are true to their word then allowing a rating system will only benefit their organisation and the customers will gain trust from others. Its a risk, but one the team feel strongly about. Where are we today? The web developers (not HR people, but they are learning) are working on the main site. As a stop gap they have launched a holding site as you may have seen. The main site will be tested throughout the summer with the intention of gaining supplier interest during October/November and delivering a Christmas present to HR people in readiness for their Christmas party.(However, sometimes builders take slightly longer than promised so don't quote us!)
