Refuge City

Restoration • Education • Re-Integration Refuge City is a Christ-centered, trauma-informed nonprofit helping youth and families overcome the mental health, education, and poverty impact of sexual exploitation and trafficking. We call our clients "Overcomers." Since 2011, Refuge City has bridged the crisis gap between rescue and long-term independence—walking beside youth ages 11–24 as they heal from trauma, rebuild trust, and discover a sense of belonging that lasts. RESTORATION We provide individual and family counseling, therapeutic art, and shared family-style meals that create safety, belonging, and hope. EDUCATION Our GED school removes barriers to learning through scholarships that cover books, testing, and tailored tutoring by retired Texas-certified teachers. RE-INTEGRATION We help Overcomers rebuild their lives—reuniting families, offering discipleship, and equipping young adults for college, employment, and stable independence. Every service is free, funded solely by private donations. Every relationship is personal. Every story points to the redeeming love of Christ. Refuge City exists for those recovering from exploitation to find safety, healing, and belonging—one restored life at a time.
