Refugeaiduoft

The purpose of the Refuge aid at the University of Toronto is to provide information and resources to incoming refugees. Throughout the year Refuge aid Uoft conducts food and clothing drives and supports non-profits that provide youth and young adults around the city with necessities especially protection from the cold winter. Furthermore, Refuge aid will post and highlight information and resources that are specific to assisting refugees and newcomers with employment, housing and language assistance. Lastly, Refuge aid Uoft will hold conferences and networking events for refugee students to connect with leaders and educators that were previously refugees or have vast knowledge about the process and thereby providing opportunities for career growth.
