Our Mission is to provide a healing embrace and a dignified welcome to refugee children and their families who have made the perilous journey to the U.S-Mexico border. Our Vision is to be a place that offers hope to refugee children and their families in the United States Key Services & Programs 1. Immigration Legal Resources Through DOJ non-attorney representative accreditation, we support families in navigating the immigration system by providing: Legal Referrals: Connecting families with reputable pro bono, low-bono, and private immigration attorneys. General Orientations: Informational sessions led by immigration attorneys on Asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and immigration court proceedings. Document Preparation Clinics: Assisting with USCIS forms (I-765 Employment Authorization, I-912 Fee Waiver, AR-11 Change of Address), supported by attorney volunteers and student interns. Language Access: Bilingual Spanish-English services ensure accessibility and dignity. Social Services & Basic Needs Support We address both immediate and long-term family needs, offering: Mental Health & Wellness: Counseling, crisis support, and mental health resource referrals. Basic Needs Assistance: Housing & Rent Relief: Guidance on local support programs. Food Bank Access: Weekly distributions and emergency food resources. Clothing & Hygiene Supplies: Provided by appointment, as available. Diapers, Wipes, Formula, & School Supplies: Support for families with young children. Medi-Cal Enrollment Assistance: Help navigating California’s healthcare programs. Youth & Family Enrichment Programs We provide culturally responsive programs that foster personal growth and connection: Art Interventions (Ages 5-11): Monthly creative workshops. Youth Empowerment Gatherings (Ages 12-15): Peer support and skill-building activities. Weekly Music Lessons (Ages 7-13): In collaboration with Nueva Vision Community Schools.
