Regen Waves

A movement started in 2021, a non profit organization to spread regeneration since 2024. At Regen Waves, our mission is to empower people and organizations to become faster, more effective regenerative agents. We believe large-scale regeneration starts from the ground up—through community, local action, and deep connection to place. Operating in the bioregion of Arrábida, we link ecosystem regeneration with community transformation. Our work is built on a scalable and adaptable model: the Superforest and Supergarden framework. These living systems combine native seed banking, regenerative forestry, ecological design, and hands-on learning to regenerate landscapes while strengthening the people who steward them. We support a diverse network of land stewards, local farmers, schools, and corporations, giving them the tools, knowledge, and regenerative pathways needed to accelerate positive impact. Through transformational learning experiences, we help communities regenerate soils, forests, and relationships—creating cascading effects that go far beyond individual projects. Our goal is to make Arrábida a worldwide reference for bioregional regeneration, demonstrating how local action, when aligned with nature and community, can scale into a global wave of ecological and social renewal.
