Region Builders, Inc

Region Builders, Inc. is a building industry trade association that includes companies representing a cross-section of the commercial/industrial building industry and 13 trade and professional associations from the greater Sacramento, CA region. We serve as a united voice to coalesce the entire industry around policies and efforts that will enhance our business environment. Region Builders, Inc. is the region’s most prominent voice for the commercial real estate development, design and construction industry. The capitol region is the state seat of the seventh largest economy in the world. Yet, it is a second-tier economic region struggling to find its way out of a deep and sustained recession. Region Builders has a vision for building Sacramento into a world-class region and an economic powerhouse that serves as a model for the nation. We believe that this will be accomplished at the local level by: •Crafting bold, innovative, and solution-oriented public policy proposals. We organize our broad industry membership together into policy councils that discuss and develop consensus around solution-oriented proposals. •Championing, advocating, and fighting for data-driven public policy change. We meet with local government elected officials and senior-level staff to discuss policy issues affecting the industry and to advocate for our policy positions. •Cultivating strong, forward-thinking, and community-minded local leaders. We host Q&A forums to assist our members in meeting local decision-makers and to educate them on topics relevant to their companies success. •Connecting private-sector leader’s with decision-makers and each other. We connect our members with local government agency leaders (staff and elected) to help them establish positive working relationships. We organize networking events for members intended to help foster and develop relationships between our members and local decision-makers.
