Founded in 2014, RegioTrade Ltd is a training, SME support, sustainable agriculture and agribusiness support organization. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, RegioTrade has provided services in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Benin, Tanzania and Nigeria. We collaborate with initiatives that focus on the creation of grassroots institutions as vehicles for achieving localized agriculture driven development goals. We train the Service Providers to be entrepreneurs able to identify opportunities that the government and other development initiatives and citizen support programmes of the private sector including technology institutions, banks, and microfinance institutions can fund at the community level within identified value chain. Depending on the value chain in question, the communities get funding to implement programmes they have evolved with the technical support and mentoring of the Service Providers. Over the past 6 years, we have worked with governments, private sector, development partners and non-governmental organizations that support agribusiness development. Some of our partners include ILO, Sign of Hope, IFAD, UNDP, Africa Agribusiness Academy, Practical Action, AGRA, PwC, Self Help Africa, Centre for the Development of Enterprises, Deloitte Consulting, and IFC among others. Staff RegioTrade Consultants takes pride in its rich pool of skills and expertise as it has both permanent staff (6 in Number) as well as associates (more than 15). The staff has vast work experiences ranging from Qualitative and quantitative studies, SMEs development, gender and development studies capacity building and training, climate renewable energy, change, Natural resource management, Agriculture and agricultural economics, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, research methods, policy studies and Experience of development projects (ODA Financed) and many more.
