Rekwired

Rekwired is a music webzine founded in December, 2011, in Armenia. Earlier known as Indie Libertines, the project has already a history of three years and passed all the way from a blog updated once a week to the online magazine featuring daily news, events and special reviews. As we grew and gained experience, we came to realize that it’s not just a hobby to keep us busy; instead, after two years of waltzing around the idea, we finally decided to run the webzine as a full-time job. Our company vision could be described with just one quote from our daily routine conversations: we require good music. That is to say, whatever band we write about, whatever music we feature – we really think it’s worth our time, efforts and space. We love discovering new bands, laying our hands on records we’ve never heard before and anticipating to hear something so fresh and new that it will be able to take our breaths and change our worlds right away. Why the plural “worlds”? Because every single person in our small team has got a unique taste in music, and that makes every one of us live in a different musical world – sometimes even several for one person. Though we’re located in Armenia, we have reporters in various countries across the planet, and you can join the team, too. We’re constantly looking for new writers, photographers and just music enthusiasts. You don’t need to have experience or background in journalism, you only need to have the passion in music.
