Relationship Unleashed

Relationship Unleashed is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting inequality through educational programs. Our main goal is to transition our community from inequity, inequality, and marginalization into a space of self-worth and value. Through our programs we bring awareness to healthy relationship practices, devastating effects of HIV/AIDS, and meaningful messages concerning health, wellness, and holistic therapy, and Harm Reduction particularly as it concerns LGBTQIA+ communities in the South. Relationship Unleashed utilizes a wraparound, holistic approach in our program design, delivery, and project implementation. We address our key focus areas from four perspectives: education and training, leadership and advocacy, health and well-being, as well as financial support and employment. We continue to play an integral role in the community-based social reform and social justice initiatives that are transforming Memphis, TN. Wraparound Memphis is the foundation of our services, programs, and initiatives. It is a concierge, intersectional wellness wraparound service program that is attentive to the mind, body, and spirit. Our continuum of services is unique in that we prioritize the needs of our most vulnerable and often overlooked clients: transgender and gender nonconforming people (TGNC), Black cis-gendered women, and the Black LGBTQIA+ community. The approach is adopted from a progressive holistic care model grounded in an adaptive and inclusive framework. Programs include but are not limited to: • TRANSCEND Memphis: An initiative solely dedicated to transgender and gender nonconforming services. The programmatic structure is based on a culturally responsive, trauma-informed curriculum created for and facilitated by individuals that are TGNC. Participants are provided with a platform to heal, lead, and thrive. • SISTAR: An intimate healing and nurturing circle tailored to fit the specific needs of Black, cis-gender women who are rebuilding their lives a
