The company was formed in response to the various challenges that are faced in the healthcare sector in Africa with an inclination towards the use of modern technology. The world is moving into the fourth industrial revolution and this will bring in new ways of tackling issues that have always burdened the continent. In a bold move, the company has taken a leading role in the creation of such products at the same pace as other first world countries. The founding principles of Relay Africa are ingenuity, trust and service. The name Relay Africa is born from the idea that young people have received the baton from an older generation of entrepreneurs and innovators who have done so much for the continent and so, just as in a relay it is now the responsibility of young people to continue to improve our continent. Led by a group of young Africans, Relay Africa thinks beyond the crisis and is set to become a leading player in creating solutions for Africa’s challenges.
