Reminisart uses the power of visual storytelling to foster happier, more connected care communities. We create large-format personal collages for people living in care settings to tell their stories, using cherished photos about their life. Our collages offer vivid insight into who residents are and what’s meaningful to them in a way that everyone can see and understand. Installed in a resident’s room, a collage helps care providers spark meaningful conversations about joyful moments, connecting in a way that lets them see each other differently. Their time together becomes about more than medical care. Team members can feel good about their work while also deepening their connections with families. For leaders, the collages are integral to the process of engaging their care teams in implementing person-centred care. Recreation teams are inspired to design activities to celebrate residents and involve the community. A connected care community starts with sharing our stories.
