Rent-A-Art (RAA) is a repository of Art that encourages artistes to continue working on their talent while RAA works at the background to ensure their sustainability through regular commissioning of Art it provides a source of regularity in income for them and their families! RAA a concept created by Alpana and Sunil is into fulfilling a need; a need to bring Art into daily lives of people; thereby removing the tedium and humdrum of routine life. How does RAA do that? Through Renting of Art to companies. The background! Many of us have at some time visited Art galleries or seen interesting paintings statues etc. but have often drawn back from going further due to the cost of such works. At RAA we purchase such works of Art leading to aforesaid benefit to the artist and then at a nominal charge rent them to individuals and companies. For the corporate entity such renting alternatives can create and foster happiness as Art is often seen as a visual delight. From grey reception lobbies to wood lined boardrooms to executive cabins and to dining rooms such works of Art enthuses the beholder and fosters curiosity! The employees could look forward to regular changes of Art and thus this makes for casual camaraderie between colleagues. RAA today! RAA today has a collection of over 450 paintings of different sizes and of amazing mediums! Many of the artists have been featured in newspapers both English and vernacular and have held exhibitions of their Art collectively or solo! Supporting NGOs RAA is currently sharing 10% of the rent with The Margosa Foundation (TMF). TMF will provide the receipt eligible for income tax deductions under Sec 80G and this receipt is in the name of the individual or company renting the Art! Consulting and suggesting!
