Renters Bay

Renters Bay, founded in October 2017 by two graduate students, is an online platform that allows users to rent their personal items in the US! Our goal is to give the opportunity to our members to earn extra from stuff they barely use or keep in their garages. Our concept can be described simple as “Airbnb for items” is known as “Collaborative Consumption” a part of Sharing Economy, which is used by the recent unicorns like Uber, Turo, Lyft and of course Airbnb… Renters Bay users will be able to borrow items on an as-needed basis such as a Halloween costume, tools for DIY, bike for getting to class, expensive calculators for a special test, go-pro for vacation, BBQ smoker for a party, or even a cap and gown for graduation! It is a great way to obtain items for one time use. They will also meet with adventurous people who share similar interests.
