Replenish, Inc. developed the world's smallest implantable, refillable drug pump for the $7 billion retinal therapeutic market (pump currently in clinical investigation, not yet approved by FDA for sale). The MicroPump is implanted under the eye's skin for the purpose of periodically injecting sight-saving medication for patients with age related macular degeneration (AMD).
