Republic Campaign

Republic is a membership-based pressure group calling for the monarchy to be replaced with an elected head of state and for the adoption of a new republican constitution. We represent Britain's estimated 10-12m republicans, promoting the cause and also defending the rights of republicans to be heard. Our mission statement is simply put:"To achieve the abolition of the British monarchy in favour of a democratic republic." Republic is a non-party-political organisation with members from all mainstream political parties and none. We are a democratic organisation governed by an elected board of directors. Republic is principally funded by our supporters and members, people like you who share our belief in the need for change.
