Residence Architects

Residence is an architecture practice focussed on how we live, designing homes, spaces and places for people. Our focus is on residential, workplace and retail design. We believe design and construction needs to address the environmental, ecological and social context in which it resides both on a local and global scale. We primarily provide design solutions that are contextual and follow a sustainable decision making process. We will challenge any deviations from this norm. We believe great design needs to be functional, personal and beautiful. Established by Connor Cunningham in 2023 Residence is a RIBA and ARB registered practice with a wealth of knowledge in residential design. We have been working in residential architecture since 2012 and have experience working on a variety of projects from one-off houses to large developments of 100+ homes and have worked for some of the UK’s biggest and award winning architecture practices. Based in Hampshire Residence works nationwide engaging with projects of all scales from extensions to one off houses excelling in managing challenging applications and maximising the potential of sites for our clients.
