In a world hammered by climate change, natural disasters like tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and fires are becoming a grim way of life, especially for the labor force that treks from one region to another to perform disaster recovery work. Too often, that means toiling in dangerous conditions with virtually no labor protections, and—especially for those who are undocumented—being vulnerable to wage theft and other abuses."- Fast Company, August 2022 Resilience Force was founded by Saket Soni and Daniel Castellanos in 2017 to advocate for those workers and reframe their labor as indispensable in an era of climate disaster.
