Resilience Insurance is the first Australian company, sole provider, of Latent Defects Insurance (LDI). Resilience Insurance is committed to working with developers, builders, government, and property owners to understand their needs and develop and deploy appropriate, innovative, and internationally acclaimed insurance products. Expected to be mandatory in NSW by 2028, LDI is a specialised insurance that safeguards residential buildings and their residents for 10 years post-completion for significant structural defects that may occur, including waterproofing, design, materials, or workmanship in the building's structural elements. The product is only offered to builders and developers committed to supporting building reform across Australia who adhere to best practice standards.
