Resilience Rally

We are a mental health non-profit organization that aims to destigmatize mental health by showcasing authentic examples of resilience in our everyday lives. This is a mental health focused initiative where we share resources and stories to help people feel less alone in their struggle. We offer free and affordable professional individual therapy through BetterHelp, group counseling through a number of partner organizations, and mental health workshops. Throughout our website and Instagram you can find mental health and suicide prevention education, tips for coping with mental illness, resources to access therapy and relatable stories of resilience. In 2018, co-founders of Resilience Rally lost a close friend and teammate to suicide. It was devastating and the team had no idea how to mourn the shocking loss. In the spring of 2019, we held a fundraiser called the Resilience Run at UCLA to honor her and raise awareness for suicide prevention. The name "Resilience Run" came about because we wanted to shift the narrative from suffering with mental illness being a sign of weakness to showing that it takes immense resilience to live everyday while battling a mental illness. Over the years the run grew into an organization where we share resources and tools on how to combat various mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and more. We host events, meetings, workshops with professionals and share stories so that others feel less alone. In 2022 we incorporated Resilience Rally and created The Resilience Rally Foundation because we saw that those struggling were not getting the professional help they needed. The non-profit allows people to apply to see mental health professionals for their specific needs for free. There will also be weekly group therapy, workshops, and compensated mental health program subscriptions.
