Mission Resilient Virginia catalyzes collective action to enhance whole-community resilience across the Commonwealth. What We Do Resilient Virginia connects people, resources, and ideas to strengthen resilient communities, environments, and economies across Virginia. We convene the Four Pillars of Resilience—ecosystem services, built environment, economic activities, and community empowerment—to break down silos, build collaborative networks, and advance practical, on-the-ground solutions. We drive integrated, statewide resilience and adaptation efforts by connecting work across regions, government systems, and industry sectors. Through partnerships spanning government, business, academia, and community organizations, we strengthen shared capacity, align investments, and support innovative resilience strategies. Resilient Virginia equips leaders and practitioners with nonpartisan policy guidance, research, technical assistance, and dynamic educational programs that support effective planning, implementation, and long-term resilience outcomes.
