Resource Exchange International (REI) sends long-term staff and short-term professionals to developing countries around the world. Our approach is distinctly holistic, providing both practical training and personal hope to the people of these countries. REI believes the most strategic and sustainable investment it makes in a developing country is to build human capacity. This commitment to develop the whole person promotes the whole community’s development. As our mission states: “We build people to build nations.” From the U.S. and other developed countries, we recruit, train and deny full-time and short-term professionals to work with nationals in our target countries. We provide training in a variety of sectors (medicine, business, agriculture, engineering and education). Our short-term professional teams focus on providing training in such areas as medicine, business and executive leadership. REI is a nonsectarian, charitable, and educational 501(c)(3) organization.
