Restaurant Im Speck
Im Jahre 1948 wurde die Flugsportgruppe Zürcher Oberland gegründet, welche im Jahr 1953 den Betrieb von Hittnau in die Speck verlegte. Aus dem Vereinslokal wurde ein Gastronomiebetrieb, in welchem mein Vater Chrigi Kessler am 1. April das Restaurant im Speck eröffnete. Sein Ziel «ä glatti Beiz für alli» zu erschaffen, hat er mit viel Hingabe und Eifer erreicht. Nach seinem Tod im Januar 2020 erbte ich den Betrieb. Seither wird sein Lebenswerk vom ganzen Speck Team in seinem Sinne weitergeführt.
