Resuscitec GmbH – Life is our Passion Resuscitec GmbH is a medical device company based in Freiburg, Germany. Our company was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of the University Hospital Freiburg. We develop, produce and market cutting-edge technology for emergency and intensive care medicine to become a global leader for extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Sudden cardiac arrest can affect anyone anytime without warning. Immediate resuscitation is critical, but often insufficient to achieve neurologically intact survival. Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR) offers an additional therapeutic approach which we advance by enabling controlled patient-specific reperfusion of the whole body (CARL). Both in- and out-of-hospital together with multi-professional rescue teams on site. Whenever. Wherever.
