Retire Then What

Welcome to Retire Then What. I’m a Business Coach and find many of my clients have set a goal of retirement. Some have dates, or ages, or bank balances, or a sale price for their business that they use as a measurable Key Performance Indicator to know when they will retire. They are working hard to achieve their goal. As a Business Coach I should be ecstatic about this. My clients have a goal, it is measureable and they are working on their goal. Great! What more could I ask for? It’s the “what next” aspect of the goal that I worry about. What happens when they achieve retirement? What’s next? Most of my clients could work 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. Many don’t have many hobbies or outside interests. Work is their life. As a Retirement Coach I help them answer the questions: What will they do when they retire? What goals do they have for this next phase of life? What does retirement look like? Do you know?
