Rhea PT serves women and children in the St. Louis metro area, as well as greater Missouri. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles at the base of your pelvis that plays a key role in bladder, bowel, and sexual health. Pelvic floor physical therapy uses manual techniques, exercise, mindfulness, and education to help you restore your pelvic floor and regain your freedom. Rhea Physical Therapy gives you one-on-one care with a doctor of physical therapy, quality treatment in the privacy of your own space, and flexibility to accommodate your busy lifestyle. Rhea PT is owned and operated by Dr. Savannah Carlson, PT, DPT, RYT. She founded Rhea Physical Therapy to help women and children overcome pelvic floor dysfunction so they can reach their full potential at home, work, and play. Savannah served women and children as a school teacher and yoga instructor prior to becoming a PT. She earned her doctor of physical therapy degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Before launching Rhea PT, Savannah worked with children from birth to young adulthood at St. Louis' top-ranked pediatric hospital. Savannah envisions a world where everyone has access to pelvic health care, regardless of income. To help make that vision a reality, Savannah has set up the Rhea Community Fund. This donation-based fund allows her to offer her services on a sliding scale to individuals who need financial aid.
