With more than 400 employees at our sites in Bergisch Gladbach near Cologne and in Dortmund, Germany, we develop and manufacture custom-made components, systems, and solutions for state-of-the-art applications in research, energy and medical technology as well as industry worldwide. In research, our solutions are used, for instance, at the European X-ray free electron laser XFEL in Hamburg, at the world’s largest particle accelerator LHC at CERN in Geneva, and the fusion reactor ITER in the south of France. We also closely cooperate with industry. We support the supply chain of the semiconductor industry that produces the chips for smartphones and modern IT applications, and we build particle accelerators for radiopharmaceutical and other industrial applications. Our pulsed power systems support industrial applications such as plasma coating, and medical therapy applications such as lithotripters used for kidney stone treatment.
