Ribizli
Ribizli is a plant-based food pioneer business, created to counter the relentless march to unsustainable consumption, obesity, ill-health, cruelty and environmental degradation by the wider food industry. Concerned with customer understanding, development of inclusive recipes and engagement of local communities, Ribizli was founded in Wallingford, Oxfordshire in 2016. Co-founders Timea Megyeri and Malcolm Hett had previously been living in Switzerland, where Timea was making high quality vegan and gluten-free products for a range of demanding Swiss retailers and businesses. A historic early 17th century cottage in Oxfordshire now forms the hub of activity, operating predominantly as a cafe. The cafe showcases fully plant-based, high quality cakes, coffees and lunches. The ethos is to combine excellence in taste and nutrition without the use of meat, dairy, eggs, fish or any artificial additives. Ribizli currently undertakes catering, markets and events - and is also the home for quality artisan micro-bakery Bare Bread - producer of organic, sourdough breads.
