Rico. Kombucha
Louis started brewing Kombucha in the kitchen (of his mother in law) after tasting Kombucha for the first time on a fair in Berlin. The drink had a great taste; somewhere in between sweet and sour, was low in calories and it didn’t contain alcohol. After months of trial and error with flavors and ingredients, he had the opportunity to start brewing in a larger space, next to his parent’s restaurant. The production capacity increased and the idea grew to release an online store to let others discover the great taste of his Kombucha! By calling it ‘RICO.’, what is Spanish for both delicious or rich, Louis wants to refer to the delicious taste as well as the numerous probiotics present in kombucha; making it a healthy alternative to sugary or alcoholic beverages. RICO. Kombucha was officially founded early 2020 and is available on the market since May 2020.
