Beginning in 2018, Ridgeview Digital invented systems and methodologies that offer the benefits of stablecoins and negate their limitations (e.g, price volatility), all by working within the existing regulated financial institution ecosystem. Our methodologies provide the ability for multiple financial institutions to issue stablecoins that can be held by customers of other financial institutions, while significantly reducing or eliminating settlement costs. The systems and methodologies help protect both retail and enterprise customers and provide all the efficiencies of digital currency while complying with existing regulation (e.g, KYC) and embracing prudent regulatory oversight.
