RIESE & OTHERS is Phillip Riese's private investment vehicle. RIESE & OTHERS invests along side a variety of Venture Capital and Private Equity firms globally with a general focus on three sectors: companies that provide disruptive financial services; companies that provide new domains of marketing excellence and efficiency;and/or companies where advanced analytics drive internal or client success. In certain cases, he accepts equity in return for active board or advisory positions in the company without an accompanying investment. Critical investment (or involvement) criteria: The company must be or could become a passionate personal interest, solving an interesting problem; the executive team and board must be world-class and enjoyable to work with; the company and the team must operate at the highest ethical levels; there is a reasonable probability that Phillip can add value to the strategic and tactical operation of the company and that the CEO will accept and potentially seek input; and the company is expected to make outstanding returns over time. From time to time, Phillip also provides personalized consultative and advisory services to CEOs and their teams to generate positive performance changes in extraordinarily short time frames. In these cases he and hand-assembled teams focus on developing and executing market share and revenue growth strategies and brings resources to bear to generate rapid expense and cash flow savings.s.
