RIGBY designs and manufactures braided rope and cordage using high quality synthetic fibers, 1/32" to 3/4" diameter for a range of applications in recreational marine and high performance yachting, industrial applications, and more. Fibers include high tenacity polyester, nylon, solution-dyed fibers, and high performance fibers including Dyneema and aramids. A variety of constructions are available including 6, 8, 12, 16, and 24-carrier. RIGBY sells to marine dealers, boatbuilders, and industrial accounts. RIGBY is a new brand, carrying on the business of Redpoint Ropes, and Ropeworks, both of which were acquired in late 2019. The ropemakers at RIGBY have been in the rope design and manufacturing business for 40 years. RIGBY Technologies welcomes inquiries for new accounts, as well as inquiries for specialty custom-engineered braids.
