Oil Exploration in Africa began over 100 years ago. Indigenous competency has since then been gradually developed, though the focus has largely been on the vast space occupied by oil fields in the region, both green and brown. Regrettably, the industry in Africa has suffered its share of setbacks in the development of these fields by new off-takers who are mostly fresh in the industry and lack the requisite management skills and financial portfolio to take on the challenges of developing the fields awarded to them—particularly in areas such as well engineering, well production, and environmental management. RIG DOWN was conceptualized in Nigeria but incorporated in the United Kingdom in 2022 with Registration number 14227518. The company's vision at inception has become a continually achieved milestone in that respect. Since its inception, the company has offered well engineering and project management services to various companies in Nigeria while prioritizing renewable energy sources as its main source of energy in all our locations in line with the United Nations Plan Zero. Today, RIG DOWN has developed the human and financial capacity to execute two well operations simultaneously supporting our clients with 100% cost of all directional drilling services required to deliver the well. Additionally, it has established an equipment and material supply chain to support the production of first oil for all its clients with brown and green oil fields. To meet its vision and mission, the company diversified into six lines of services for effective management and efficient monitoring, namely: Oil & Energy Development & Investment Wells & Facilities Management.
