Right-Side-Up Stories

Melea Brock will say (with a wink!) that she tells stories for the "kid" inside everyone. Melea’s training in social work and student affairs (Azusa Pacific University), coupled with a background in theater, have provided her with a special kind of insight into the human condition and an ability to communicate through oral storytelling. Melea’s stories, whether hers or an ancient folktale or true life story, are brought to life with believable characterization and the well-trained narrative skills of a seasoned artist. Her books and audios are staples in many a home and personal library. Her most recent book/audio publication “Step Inside… Where Stories Come to Life,” is the culmination of 25 years of storytelling, writing and listening to her audiences. Whether it's coaching or mentoring, writing or telling, performing or storytelling… it’s always about telling the stories that matter. Melea’s Re-Story Theater team is on hiatus as she prepares a solo performance character that she hopes to introduce in Fall/Winter of 2016.
