Right Start Early Intervention Program For Autism

Right Start provides center-based treatment offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language therapy and Music Therapy with a specific focus on early intensive therapeutic intervention. Services may involve individual and family treatment and parent education. Treatment may be necessary for teaching skills, reducing behavior problems,etc. The therapy models that are used in our facility include 1:1 or group intervention sessions designed to teach communication, cognitive, play, social and self-help skills. Right Start provides evaluation, program development and modification, behavioral observations and as necessary, psychological support. Based on individual need, a child may attend one of our 3 Programs (ages 2-6+): 1. Right Start - Pre-School Setting - Teaching focuses on developing group learning and preschool readiness skills, such as listening and responding, group participation, observational learning and sustained attention. Right Start+ Plus - Get Set for School - Teaching focuses on developing group learning and preschool readiness skills, such as listening and responding, group participation, observational learning and sustained attention. Intensive Block Option - Daily Therapeutic 1:1 Intervention Services. important behavioral goals are targeted including reduction of stereotypic behavior, increasing tolerance, etc. and involve individual and family treatment and parent education. All programs use a team approach, each child’s program is supported by multiple members. Each person is critical in achieving the best long-term outcome for the child. Placement is determined by individual needs of the child.
