Ringside Fire Grill
Billy Soose. In 1941 Billy Soose, an American 3-time Golden Glove boxer won the world middleweight championship. With 34 wins, 13 KOs, 6 losses, and 1 draw he fought 41 total fights. He retired to the Lake Wallenpaupack area, buying a bar and a restaurant named The Lamp Light Inn, a motel across the street, and then a boxing camp in Hawley, PA. Soose served in the United States Navy and is remembered for having a “larger than life” personality, and for being “The Champ”. Ringside was built where the former Lamp Light Inn stood. Whether you need a high-class date night on the town, a catered menu for a wedding or other special event, a casual lunch with friends or a weekend afternoon spent enjoying light food and fabulous wine, we can create the perfect experience for you. With multiple areas around the venue for dining, there’s always a perfect place for your enjoyment. Have a romantic night under the stars on our back terrace, landscaped to provide the perfect ambiance, or enjoy drinks and appetizers on the front porch. Whatever your dining needs are, we can provide the perfect location and the best personalized experience in the area.
