Hearing loss affects over 400m people in the world; 90% caused by sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). There are currently no disease-modifying therapeutics for SNHL patients. Rinri's pioneering technology seeks to reverse SNHL through the regeneration of the damaged sensory cells in the inner ear, the cochlea. Rinri is backed by Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF), UCB Ventures, Pioneer Group and the University of Sheffield.
