I am lucky enough to do work I enjoy with people I enjoy, and for me there's nothing better than helping people be the best they can be, seeing people grow in confidence to become great communicators and to really connect with those around them. There are two keys to this success; a focus on how you present to others increased understanding of yourself and your audience The leader who shows vulnerablity and can articulate their vision will inspire and engender trust, increasing engagement. The leader who takes time to understand what motivates and excites their people wins loyalty and respect. But this high level communication is not only a critical leadership skill, it's a necessary skill for all of us to get our points across in a respectful, authentic way. Communication and how wrong we can get it fascinates me. Corporate communication has a major crack in it. It’s fractured by a lack of understanding and respect for our differences, fragmented by unending corporate speak and shattered by high volume clutter. So I'm on a quest to change that, one person at a time.
